Langlade Springs uses ENSO Bottle's™ innovative new biodegradable PET plastic bottle, produced with Ecopure™. This additive allows the bottles to break down more quickly in landfills and composts, and can be mixed with standard PET (polyethylene terephthalate) plastic recycling. Traditional plastic bottles can take thousands of years to break down in a landfill. The ENSO Bottles Langlade Springs uses completely bio-degrade within 5 years.
These bottles also maintain the same physical properties as traditional PET bottles. That means they offer a more stable shelf life than corn-based PLA and oxo-degradable (require oxygen, heat and moisture to break down, which is not found in landfills) plastics, while reducing environmental impact.
